What does music mean to you?
“Music is vibration. It is universal love and light, and when we connect with her, we can feel what is beyond the veil of perception in our three dimensional reality. Music is my vocation but also my spiritual volition. The path of music is a never-ending journey of growth and of connection. Through yourself to her, music. It is a path of transitioning from being a musician to simply being music."
Marubia's debut album is called "Odyssey". It strongly reflects the singer/songwriter part in her, but also her love for jazz, trip hop and world music, shown in her instrumental features and her compositional skills.
In her words:
“Odyssey is a story being told. It is like a book, in three parts. It is about a journey. Not so much a journey through time and space, but an inward journey to the self... to myself. It is about my search, my odyssey inwards through other dimensions. The voyage of a being of light...a warrior of light. It is my journey, yet it reflects the seeking in all of us...and I am inviting listeners to come along with me.”

She has just finished her second album "A Seeker´s Dream", to be released on Greg Osby´s label Inner Circle Music later this year.
It is a reflection of her passion for spiritual and northern jazz, but also for ambient music and trip hop. It reveals her earliest musical experiences through contact to jazz and classical music and her on-going quest to create authentic, unique and impactful music. In her strive to merge these genres she created a collection of atmospheric compositions with evocative soundscapes, enriched by the pulse of modern ambient and electronic elements and drone techniques but deeply rooted in spiritual awareness, that offers the listener a transcendent experience.
